  • Bags 2 Bosnia

Tue 03 Dec 2019 Jill Garmeson

Each Christmas our friend Rod makes an incredible journey in his land Rover from his home in Glossop to towns in Bosnia where he delivers bags of toys, writing materials, clothes, toiletries and other treats to the children who have very little, in order to help make their Christmas that bit more special. This is a cause which we have supported over many years at Edale School, Rod’s dedication and the stories of appreciation from the children in Bosnia are truly moving.

Swallow Class enjoyed listening to Rod's stories of his visits to Bosnia and helping to load his Land Rover with the gifts they had brought for him to take to the children in time for Christmas.
