Edale C of E Primary School is a special place to be. Surrounded by the imposing plateau of Kinder Scout and with Mam Tor and Loose Hill nearby, its stunning location offers an inspiring place to learn. The environment is cherished and celebrated within a broad and rich curriculum. Edale caters for children from Reception up to Year 6. Class sizes are very small meaning personalised provision and support and outstanding relationships between staff, children, and their families. We are proud to be able to offer:

• Weekly Forest School sessions for all EYFS and KS1 children with a specialist teacher;
• Bespoke maths and literacy support targeted to individual needs;
• A Tai Chi and mindfulness session every week with a specialist coach;
• A weekly trip to our neighbours, Hope Primary School, to access PE provision in a bigger setting;
• Incredibly strong links with the local community and church;
• Wrap around care, from 7.45am-5pm, due to our collaboration with Hope Primary School;
• The option of flexi-schooling.

The school is only a 5-minute walk from Edale Train Station meaning we are easily accessible from all locations on the Manchester-Sheffield line.
