Hello, I am Jess parent to Leo who started Edale primary school in September 2017 and auntie to another pupil at the school. Me and my husband moved to Edale in 2009, so we could keep my horses closer to home. We quickly fell in love with the place and the community. As a family we enjoy spending time in nature and exploring the outdoors with and without our many 4 legged friends.
For many years I have worked in market research including managing my own market research company providing research and insight to many leading UK brands. Since becoming a mum to Leo and Luca, I re-trained as an equine assisted therapy practitioner with EAGALA and have recently set up a therapy centre providing equine assisted therapies with my horses and a mental health professional.
We have been so happy with Leo’s growth since starting at Edale school, his confidence has blossomed, he is happy setting off every morning and his individual needs are always met. The small school environment has helped him to thrive and learn and the opportunities seem endless. As a parent governor I wish to support this great school however I can.
