• Jack and Ella's trip to Derby Open Centre

  Jack and Ella joined children from years 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 at Hope for a faith trail in Derby - organised by the Open Centre.

  They visited Derby Mosque and Derby Gurdwara and had some great workshops about pilgrimages and arabic writing. 

  

• Swallow's Class visit their namesake!

  Swallow's Class had an amazing visit to a local stables to watch a nest of beautiful young Swallows being fed by the adult birds. The children remained extremely quiet and became proficient in using their binoculars gaining some breathtaking sightings of the birds.

  As part of our class topic studying the area around Edale and the Hope Valley we went for a fantastic walk through Ollerbrook and up onto The Nab where we gained some amazing panoramic views.
